What We Do

Our goal at the Modesto Grappling Club is to offer competitive classes in Submission Wrestling, in a fun, safe and friendly environment.

Submission Wrestling, also known as Grappling, is a mixture of various wrestling styles (Collegiate Wrestling, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Sombo).  The goal of the sport is to obtain a submission hold on your opponent using such techniques as chokes, arm-bars, leg-locks, etc.

The Modesto Grappling Club offers courses to all ages (12yrs. and up) and no experience is necessary.  Our club is open to the public; adults are welcome.

Classes are held in the Beyer High School wrestling room every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
