Rank and Promotion

Here at the Modesto Grappling Club students are taught the art of Submission Grappling.  The curriculum of this grappling art is presented in a systematic format.  All students have the opportunity to learn and be promoted to seven different levels of rank.  Each level represents the students knowledge and level of ability.  Rank and promotion are determined by: Practice, Time in Grade, Submission Grappling Terminology, Competition, and Technical Demonstration.
